This is an opportunity for a qualified structural engineer to grow with a commercial construction company on a sizable project based in Palmerston North. This role has a high level of responsibility and has excellent prospects for advancement to project management.

You will be working closely with project managers and site managers providing significant back up and support. The role will involve, reviewing drawings, reviewing methodologies, inspecting sites liaising with sub-contractors and planning, scheduling, QA and providing technical engineering advice.

This role would suit an applicant with 8+ years of structural and reinforced concrete experience either gained for a main contractor and with relevant civil engineering tertiary qualifications. You have outstanding analytical ability and strong CAD knowledge. You have an interest in working for a sizable main contractor where your preference is on site. You have top local construction knowledge, naturally you are an effective communicator.
