About the job

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

Search, Geo, Commerce and Ads (SGCA) Partnerships discusses and manages partnerships that help build, differentiate, and scale Google’s products across: Search and Assistant Content and Distribution, Research, Geo, Web/Chrome/Core, Shopping, Travel, Emerging Marketplaces, and Ads. In this role, you will in the Ads team which focuses on ad measurement partnerships as well as cross-exchange access. We are a highly collaborative team and work with a broad set of cross-functional teams within Google, including Legal, Engineering, and Sales teams.

You will focus on partnering with measurement companies to measure brand spend related Key Performance Indicators for Google media, including first of a kind partnerships. You will work closely with Google's Product Management, Go-To-Market and Sales organizations to launch and manage existing ad measurement partnerships (people reach, brand safety, view-ability) both Google owned and partner owned.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of Google's media measurement strategy across Google owned and operated media product areas.
  • Collaborate with Go-To-Market, Global Product Leads, and Product teams to identify critical partnership opportunities with the potential to grow Google’s advertising ecosystem.
  • Develop and discuss strategic agreements with a variety of partners in the measurement space, including Joint Industry Committees and tool providers.
  • Successfully manage and operate existing partnerships.
  • Partner with Legal to draft agreements or amend existing ones.
