Our Opportunity

The Armidale Class Patrol Boat In Service Support Project represents one of the key service projects for Thales Maritime, Asset Management Services. As as Store Person you will be responsible for ensuring a timely and smooth flow of materials through the warehouse processes of receipt, storage, maintenance and issue to Thales and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving equipment and materials into and transfer related to ACPB ISS program.
  • Accurate and timely recording of deliveries in the Thales inventory management system.
  • Store inventory in appropriately designated areas.
  • Picking and packing of equipment and materials in accordance with approved requisitions.
  • Inspecting equipment and material for compliance with purchase order criteria i.a.w the store person delegation.
  • In-store maintenance and shelf life control of material and equipment.
  • Physical conduct of stock takes in accordance with Thales and MCDSPO requirements.
  • Maintain checks of material handling equipment.
  • Undertake warehouse housekeeping as required and/or directed.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in stores or warehousing
  • Experience with MILIS (desirable)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • Good communication skills and able to work in a team

Special Requirements:

Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
