Storeperson/Inwards Goods - Raeward Fresh Harewood

We are looking for a highly motivated and professional person to join our team at Raeward Fresh Harewood!

Raeward Fresh Harewood is a locally owned, family run business, made up of our popular Café, busy retail store, and growing Wholesale business, and we are looking for a storeperson to manage our Inwards Goods process.

The role is full time Monday to Friday, 5.00am - 1.30pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Unloading deliveries from trucks arriving in the yard, recording temperature where appropriate.
• Marking off the goods received against paperwork provided.
• Putting the deliveries away, ensuring stock is rotated and tidy.
• Ensuring the quality of goods received, and raising any issues with the appropriate manager.
• Managing the accurate receipt and return of crates and chargeable pallets.
• The recording of daily temperature checks around the store.
• Keeping the chillers, yard and inwards goods areas clean and tidy.

To be successful you will be:

• a qualified forklift driver holding a current forklift licence.
• a team player, able to support and collaborate with the rest of the team.
• physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks.
• committed towards maintaining and strengthening the work environment, embracing all Health and Safety practices
• excellent at time management, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• reliable & punctual - those early starts are key!
