This role is for an enthusiastic and confident Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate who is willing to train as a Stomal Therapist. You will require excellent clinical skills and a passion for working with people who already have or are intending to have a stoma.

You will need to be a team player, yet able to work unsupervised, with a desire to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. This position involves educating and supporting clients to manage their stoma. An understanding of associated surgical procedures would be an advantage. You will require a commitment to study and learn new skills, but training and support will be provided to the right candidate.

This role is based in Merivale, you will be working in the Nurse Maude clinic, community and Hospital site.

This is a .8fte to 1fte position, days will be by negotiation and based on service requirements

• A full driving licence is required
• Current Visa is required
• Annual Practicing Certificate required
