The Opportunity

We currently have the opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic STMS to join our team in Timaru. This is an exciting role that will give you the opportunity to utilise and grow your current skills while delivering traffic management on the Timaru Local Council roads with opportunities to work on State Highways as projects require. You will provide TM services for both internal and external clients so a positive and adaptable approach is key.

The role will involve:

• Delivering Traffic Management to both internal and external clients
• Supervising and managing all temporary traffic management aspects of a site

What we need from you?

• A full class 1 drivers licence essential and class 2 licence desirable
• A level 1 STMS certificate with experience
• Cat A and Cat B required
• The ability to read, understand and implement Traffic Management Plans
• Strong leadership skills
• Safety and quality focused
• A comprehensive understanding of CoPTTM
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to travel out of town if required
