The opportunity:

We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Staffing Hospitality Manager to work at the Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin. Hours of work are rostered across the week (min. 40hrs per week) dependent upon the needs of the business. As a result total flexibility is required in hours that you can work.

Your responsibilities:

In this new and exciting role, you will need to maintain consumer satisfaction, follow Health & Safety compliance along with Food Safety, Recruit, induct and train staff & provide continuous training and development for all staff. Manage contracts to provide services, work collaboratively and cross functionally with various members of the Group Group brand. In addition to this you will work with the various retail teams within Dunedin Venues and manage the provision of alcohol services and plan catering for an event or function along with various other duties.

If you are our ideal candidate you will need to have:

• A minimum of five years in a Customer Service Management role
• Experience in running events at various venues (excess of 500 pax).
• Experience in Staff recruitment
• Experience in Staff training
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external customers
• Proven ability to anticipate customer needs and achieve or exceed customer satisfaction standards
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and manage strategic objectives
• Financial acumen that demonstrates a thorough understanding of operating within a budget
• High level of computer literacy with Office 365, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and procurement systems
• Full Clean Drivers Licence & Valid Duty Managers Certificate

• will be a New Zealand citizen or resident or be in position of a valid NZ work visa.
• will need to Pass a Pre-employment Background Check
• will need to provide evidence of your Covid-19 vaccination status.
