We're the recruiting team who hire talent for Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Studios in the EU.
Key job responsibilities
You will be a detail-oriented planner with the demonstrated ability to communicate and respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor and great composure under pressure. You will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and team oriented,with an ability to deliver results through influence. You will have a proven track record at taking end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results.
A day in the life
The PM will partner with VPs and Directors to agree and execute upon an active and varied program of events and social media activity. The ideal candidate is an experienced PM with experience of working on strategy, brand development and/or employer branding. You will be a quick learner who enjoys working in a dynamic, ambiguous space with ever-changing priorities, who has strong prioritization abilities and can complete a high volume of complex tasks with minimal supervision.
About the team
Traditionally, we've focused on external hiring, with this being supplemented by internal transfers who found their way to our customer groups. A few years ago, we decided to tap into this internal Amazon candidate pool in a more programmatic way and launched a dedicated internal engagement team.
Fast forward to today and based on results, we're a leader in this space, with our model being copied by other Amazon recruiting teams. The expanded team of PM professionals will build on existing internal and external talent programs and identify and execute upon new, innovative programs for the EU.
· Solid experience in communications strategy, events management, brand development, or program management
· Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in communicating with sr. leadership
· Proven experience in inventing new ways to drive engagement of customers or teams
· Proven ability to deliver excellent results and find solutions quickly when challenges need to be overcome
· Experience working in a high-speed and ambiguous environment
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
· PM or PHR certification preferred.
· Virtual events management experience.
