DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

Sr. Program Manager responsible for the completion of complex NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and partner technologies (Fabric, Storage, Accelerators) to deliver datacenter system solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, plan, and drive engineering program plans based on AMD management and senior technical guidance
• Provide program management leadership to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
• Coordinate team communications and reviews with AMD senior management and customers
• Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
• Experience in areas of datacenter system design, software development, and validation
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking

EDUCATION:

• 10+ years project management experience in high tech industry
• Bachelor's degree in EE, CE, or CS; Master's preferred; PMP certification a plus, but not required
• Skilled in MS Office & MS Project tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint
