Responsible for overseeing production design for the Abbott product marketing division. The SR. PRODUCTION MANAGER will participate in developing and managing a small team of designers focused on a streamlined, functional, compressed workflow. This individual will own and manage the production process for all mediums, including print, digital, video, animation and environmental graphics. Incumbent will develop strategies for server organization and file structure. The production manager will assemble new processes, identify appropriate resources, assign individual responsibilities and develop workflows to ensure timely completion of projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze variances in production capabilities and offer viable solutions to ensure a seamless production workflow.

  • Ability to assign production goals, tasks and deadlines based on logic and critical thinking.

  • Lead and mentor a team of production designers.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently in the most effective and efficient manner possible, ensuring adequate resources are available.

  • Strong attention to detail and superb organization skills.

  • Remain informed of all industry news and production design and design software.

  • Experience generating creative, innovative ideas in a short time frame.

  • Continuously seek to improve the processes and operational efficiency of the creative department.

  • Coordinate and prioritize design efforts across the newly formed production team.

  • Ensure compliance with brand and legal standards.
