SR Mgr, Experiences Testing - 124621
The Role:
The Senior Manager for Experiences Testing plays a key role inside our Solutions Product team responsible for ensuring our solutions meet or exceed the end-user experiences they require and that our end customers are delighted. The role works closely with our Technology and Product Management teams to understand which customer experiences are being target and ensuring that we have the tools, methods, processes, and resources to complete those plans. The role is involved in early definition of experiences through validating on current projects. This includes interacting with both internal testing teams as well as 3rd parties to understand what is possible.
They partner with Solutions Product Management to ensure the end-user solutions are enabled as intended and deliver exciting, differentiated customer experiences. Additionally, they work with a wide range of technical counterparts across the business including Client CPUs, Graphics, Customer Engineering and Architecture, AMD Technologies, and ecosystem partners.

- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in driving sophisticated projects within a cross functional team environment.
- A ‘fuser’, someone who can work with diverse groups in different locations and bring together consensus
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly develop relationships is key.

- Hands-on approach and willingness to actively drive enablement. This will require ‘getting your hands dirty’ with many of the efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define new testing methods and processes to ensure our solutions are providing the best customer experience possible.
- Work with internal and external partners to determine the best place to run the various tests
- Work cross functionally to develop required documentation and collateral for given experience tests.
- Track progress of specific solutions throughout development
- Work with OEMs and partners on our experience testing methodologies looking for alignment and new opportunities
- Research new test methods to demonstrate the maximum value of AMD Solutions
- Perform hands on testing of various solutions to evaluate benefits, key features, and experiences.
- Work closely with AMD Product and Engineering teams to stay ahead with our experiences testing plans.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of prior experience in Product Development, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, or technical solutions enablement.
- Minimum of 8 years total proven experience
- Experience working with CPUs, discrete GPUs and/or integrated GPUs
- Proven customer advocate and demonstrated ability in defining and driving customer experiences.
- Strong market and industry knowledge and experience for gaming PCs
- Experience developing products and solutions for global consumer markets
- Proven track record of innovation
Academic Credentials:
- Bachelors degree in computer technology or equivalent, Masters preferred.
