Job Description
Purpose: Ensuring all work required is done to the best of the ability of the individual, which is licensed and trained, as per the HVAC Association guidelines (TSSA: Technical Standards & Safety Authority). Ensuring that any work related to heating and cooling done for internal and external clients is done safely. Install, service, and otherwise is done with pride and extreme knowledge and experience. To ensure the safety of the client where changing, repairing, and/or installing relating to any heating and cooling items. Possible signing bonus to those that qualify.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Represent Climate Experts Heating and Cooling Inc. in a professional, courteous, and customer service oriented manner on each and every call
- You are a proud ambassador for our company's installation, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial customers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- General and other inspections of all types of items/appliances for residential users.
- Correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance.
- Explain the value of Climate Experts Heating and Cooling inc. and products, services, and programs on every call.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
- Perform other duties as required, which are reasonably consistent with your job
- Be willing and able to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
- Oversee installations.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment.
- Apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner on each job.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide technical support in the field.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities where appropriate.
- Layout, design, and install low-voltage wiring.
- Run after-hours calls as required.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Gas Technician II license.313D or 313A license Asset
- Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
- Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License
- Must have a G2 gas license
- Must provide proof of vaccine/booster
- Must be able to provide a clean vulnerability police report
- Must provide a clean driver abstract and maintain at all times
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to wear Company provided uniform.
- Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery.
