The Role

The AMD Product Security Office (PSO) is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to define, coordinate and implement our technical security strategy for multiple AMD products segments (Client, Server and Graphics).

The Person

To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about product management, security technologies and have a proven record of delivering security solutions. You need to work closely with security engineering team to develop security strategy and prioritize features for better customer experience. Must have good technical depth to engage in technical discussions and market trends with security community, CTOs and CIOs

Person in this role need to understand market trends, common challenges associated with security and how to address them. The position requires a highly collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills and ability to present to and engage with stakeholders and leaders at multiple levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate security vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AMD Security Platform
• This position focuses on creating security product requirements for AMD hardware and SW across multiple line of business
• Develop and maintain technical depth on existing and emerging security technologies for PC and Server ecosystem to help with roadmap definitions
• Partners’ interface with AMD product management, business development, product marketing, hardware, software, and platform engineering teams, and vice versa, to define and drive innovation projects to completion
• Work closely with customers and partners to understand requirements and desired timelines  
• Create comprehensive communication strategy related to security and help create materials like white papers, marketing collaterals, infographics etc
• Manage partner content creation, promotion and co-marketing opportunities with AMD marketing, including communicating the value of AMD’s worldwide audience and marketing channels for the partners’ brand awareness and acceptance

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years of technical Product or Program Management experience preferably in product security, Cloud, Security compliance or enterprise
• 5+ years of experience with hardware/software security domains
• Demonstrated successful record in defining product roadmaps
• Understanding of common security compliance regulations and standards such as FIPS, NIST Cybersecurity framework, Common Criteria, FedRamp etc
• Experience in successfully creating and leading cross-group organization wide initiatives.
• Ability to push ideas and influence decision making collaborative environment.

Academic Credentials 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or business

Travel

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work no more than 10% of the time
