If so, you would be the right person for the Senior Program Manager role on the Prime Video Live Events team, leading a team of ambitious program managers to bring new sports leagues and other live broadcasted events to Prime Video.

Key job responsibilities
As the head of launch management EU, you will be responsible for leading a team of effective project managers who take new sports on Prime Video from deal signing to their first live broadcast.

Key activities include:
· Build a high performing team and support team members in meeting their objectives and achieving career goals.
· Define targets, provide guidance and track progress with your team members in executing complex launch programs.
· Define a vision of a global operating model for planning and managing launch programs across the world and execute on the
· Transform the processes and tools that unlocks scaling the selection of live sports events on Prime Video in the future.
· Identify initiatives, establish goals, plans and related metrics, track progress, and manage through obstacles to achieve quality improvements and operational efficiency gains.
· Communicate with senior management on progress, risks, issues and decisions needed to ensure meeting launch dates and quality targets of live sports events for Prime Video customers.

A day in the life
You will lead a team of program managers to define and execute the programs to bring new sports leagues to Prime Video and launch live events for our customers in Europe and world wide. Leading from the front, you will take on the challenges of launching the most complex launch projects yourself. A successful candidate will be customer-focused, team-oriented and will have an ability to develop and lead teams to meet deadlines under time constraints and while continuously raising the bar for quality. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in building effective teams and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

About the team
The team’s core mission is to manage programs and workflows associated with delivering live content to Amazon customers. This involves interacting with sports media and metadata partners, managing workflows through the publishing process, and defining operational procedures with the goal of bringing highly engaging sports content to Prime Video customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of this core mission, you will work closely with cross-functional counterparts in product management, engineering, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to ensure the teams and systems are supporting the broader growth of our business, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Do you have consolidated/demonstrable experience in program or project management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
· Experience with managing projects for live broadcasting
· Experience and understanding of digital video streaming and/or digital video supply chain
· Work experience in building and managing operational teams for online services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to build positive long-term relationships with both internal and external partners and influence them to deliver results
· Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas with technical employees
· Experience with writing functional requirements to create new tools or refine processes/policies.
· Passionate about understanding customers and their behaviour in order to drive new feature development
· Competent to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
· Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating relevant results to senior leadership
· Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and marketing/business counterparts to deliver online products/services
