To further accelerate our advances in next-generation-battery-technology, we are looking for a Research & Development Specialist for Solid-State-Batteries and -Cells.
 
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
•    As a Research and Development Specialist for Solid-State-Batteries and -Cells, you will coordinate the requirements for next-generation-technology batteries and cells in future electrical energy storage systems for electric vehicles with internal stakeholders and external partners.
•    Additionally, you will develop innovative concepts for automotive battery systems and cells and subcomponents in a highly motivated, interdisciplinary, and international team.
•    Your area of responsibility will also include the implementation of prototypes for new batteries & cell concepts in different sample phases.
•    Furthermore, you will be responsible for testing and validating of the performance of batteries and battery cells (energy, lifetime, power, fast charge, swelling force, safety, etc.) against the requirements.

Qualifications

•    University degree or equivalent in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials sciences, or a similar qualification.
•    In-depth professional experience in the field of electric storage technologies is required.
•    Extensive experience in the field of all solid-state battery technology.
•    A sound knowledge of battery cell production/ processes.
•    Experience of documenting testing and validation is beneficial.
