About the team

The Spatial Systems Analyst will work as part of a team and will be a link between the user/s and that data.  Develops and provides support for the management of road safety spatial data through bespoke systems.

The opportunity

This role plays an integral part in the technical support team for the application to manage speed zone information by providing a link between developers and end users.

Work cooperatively within a team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.

Promote and adhere to the Public Sector Values of Integrity, Trust, Service and Accountability, and the organisation’s Code of Conduct and manage business processes to ensure the proactive identification of risk and the review and improvement of systems designed to minimise or eliminate fraud and corruption

Participate in the planning, capture, manipulation, maintenance and ongoing support of geospatial information and metadata in both desktop and client server environments to ensure spatial systems are best practice, reliable and efficient. Maintaining business specific spatial datasets to a high standard of integrity, ensuring that stakeholders have access to current, reliable, and appropriate spatial data of high quality and that the operation of Centre for Road Safety’s spatial systems is successful and effective.

About you

You will hold relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in managing spatial data and associated business processes.  You will be able to engage with people across the business and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.

Salary and Benefits
