SOUTHLAND is currently seeking dedicated and safety-minded Spare School Bus Drivers to join our team. This is an essential role that offers job security, a flexible schedule and allows you to make a difference on the front line by transporting our children to school safely.

Spare Drivers must be comfortable with navigation as they can cover any route. A good knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding area is essential.

Job Description

Spare Drivers provide relief coverage when needed and are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service and will possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between the hours of 6:30 am to 9:30 am and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the afternoon.

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 (non-GDL) driver's license (FREE Class 2 training provided)
• 10-year driver's abstract (10-year commercial driver's abstract for licenses above a class 5)
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector search
