As a part of its agreements with its various clients, Procom is currently seeking a Solution Lead – eCommerce for a company in the manufacturing sector. Our client is located in Montréal.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Develop and provide functional, technical and solution delivery expertise for the company’s integrated Direct to Consumer (D2C,) and Dealer (B2B) eCommerce and other Sales Order Management solutions;
- Help build and sustain a Distribution Order Management Centre of Expertise, coordinating a team of internal and external eCommerce, Order Management, and Execution experts to deliver business solutions spanning multiple the company’s divisions;
- Develop collaborative working relationships with key business partners, consultants, solution architects, technology & business teams;
- Assist in all aspects of the application / function lifecycle management (projects, continuous improvement & support as required);
- Work closely with the extended business and solution delivery team to ensure the company’s Ordering systems and developed applications continue to meet current and future functional & technical business needs;
- Ensure the company’s platform & development best practices, resources, governance, functional and technical application documentation, and training materials are maintained;
- Ownership of Application Runbooks for developed solutions, working closely with Solution Architects and Support Partners;
- Acquire & share knowledge of emerging business needs, technology and solutions to help improve the company’s business & dealer operations;
- Support and optimize organizational change management and technical change control functions.
Mandatory Skills – Solution Lead - eCommerce
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or other relevant subject areas;
- 5+ years' experience in Sales order management and delivery systems, from both a front-end (eCommerce / UI / payment process) and back-end (order fulfillment) perspective;
- Solid experience in application life-cycle management, working in a fully integrated and extended Sales & Distribution (ERP) environment;
- Specific experience with Magento eCommerce, Manhattan Omni-Channel, and SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) integrated solutions would be a great advantage;
- Good understanding and ability to learn OEM Parts & Accessories ordering & distribution operations and direct to consumer (D2C) eCommerce;
- Strong teamwork, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- A desire to learn, develop and support business operations with new technology and solutions;
- Strong communication & collaboration skills, capable of building relationships across multiple levels of IT, solution partners, and business operations;
- Written and oral English is required (fluent in both English and French is an asset);
- The ability and desire to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and have fun.
