We now have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a senior Solution Architect to join the Business Technology Team, on a work from home basis, looking across SaaS solutions, predominately in the SAP service cloud space.

You will be acting as a technical solution architect across multiple projects, providing solutions that fulfil stakeholder requirements to ensure projects are able to be successfully completed to the highest standard. This is an essential role that requires the ability to take business requirements into a robust technical analysis and delivery solution that meets expected project timescale and budget.

This role will be translating functional and non-functional requirements into technology solutions whilst presenting options to support decision making that consider both immediate needs and longer-term considerations across the business. Expect to directly lead a team of other Solution Architects and work horizontally with Enterprise Architecture to foster the development of a community that shares best practice all whilst continually looking for opportunities to improve processes.

Key Accountabilities:

• Accountable for the definition, governance, and documentation of technical solutions for the Brakes business, bridging the gap between the technical and business requirements
• Translating functional and non-functional requirements into technology solutions – presenting options to support decision making that consider both immediate needs and longer-term considerations
• Describing the structure, characteristics, behaviour, and other aspects of software to stakeholders
• Working closely with the solution architecture community to establish best practice tools / techniques and frameworks for adoption
• Document high- and low-level designs to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered​​​​​​​

A knowledge of architectural tools and software products is required as well as an excellent understanding of data integration standards and technologies Service Orientated Architecture, API’s, SAP, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Data storage and extraction. The ideal candidate will have the confidence and ability to cope with complex, conflicting, business issues.
