Quality Engineering is a newly established team at MBIE as we move swiftly into becoming a Digital Agency. We are tasked with building quality checks and measures into our software and technical delivery. Our team is focused continually improving our ways of working and leveraging technology to drive this. This includes Cloud technology, automation, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.

About the role:
Reporting to the Software Engineer Team Lead this position is a specialist role with the purpose of delivering solutions for MBIE. The Software Engineer will take ownership of the development, implementation, and delivery of complex custom projects. They will take a strategic view and uses leading-edge thinking and tools to develop and deliver solutions for the development and delivery of solutions while working with peers and internal customers to ensure successful outcomes:
