Office 365 is one the fastest growing businesses in Microsoft.  You can be part of our Global Customer Promises team is to drive compliance with Enterprise promises and Antitrust obligations, to increase product adoption and customer satisfaction while keeping our business safe in Office365.  Our engineering team owns the process and services development that drives policy adoption using a scalable system that is product and customer aware; and it's capable of handling changes and adopting to business needs while providing visibility and maintaining data security.  We are data-driven leveraging signals to meet product compliance, improve coherence and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop services and tools to detect if Office365 compliance policies are implemented, mine usage telemetry and customer feedback, audit quality, and ensure appropriate documentations are released.
  • Building tools and capabilities to facilitate admin policy lifecycle operations like: deployment auto-discovery, operational data collection, real-time monitoring, and self-healing and repair.
  • Working as part of a results-oriented, data-driven team that embraces experimentation
  • Collaborating with engineers, program managers and partner teams to deliver a set of features with the right overall design, implementation, and monitoring

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience with C++/C#; shipping external-customer-facing code
  • Experience of telemetry data mining
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, and work well with other people
  • Be self-motivated and be a team player.
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Development and DevOps experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Building cloud services, web APIs, and/or REST services
  • Client (WPF, MVVM) or web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC), and SQL Azure
