Every day there will be plenty of opportunity to influence the direction of their product and the cultural and technical direction of the team. You will build software that runs at scale, you will learn and experiment with the latest technologies to innovate, you will help other engineers on the team grow to their full potential. 

Requirements:

This hire will need experience in DevOps and pipeline automation, and be able to provide real customer value (B2B).

You will be keen to take full ownership of building greenfield projects with an agile mindset to help them grow. 

• Proven experience building and deploying features that deliver customer value
• Proficiency with Django/Python (preferred)
• Proficiency with git (preferred)
• Proficiency with Linux use and admin
• Experience with a modern frontend framework, e.g., Angular, React or Vue
• Appreciation of code quality and the value of a well tested code base
• An agile mindset - be able to self manage and plan your own day, as well as provide great value to B2B customers
• Based in the UK 

Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate as part of the product process to help shape and refine the scope of ideas
• Develop and deploy new features that provide real customer value
• Continually look for opportunities to improve operational excellence
• Carry out occasional on-call responsibilities, within a team that is empowered to ensure that their platform is robust

Frameworks, boundaries, and decision-making authority:

• Empowered to determine when a feature is done and ready for customers
• Key relationships are with team members, Software Engineering Lead, Product Owners, Product Designers and customers.
• Involves planning within the scrum framework the work to be carried out in the current 2 week time box
