Our SAP implementation is a large-scale worldwide enterprise system that comprises of SD, MM, FI-CO, Treasury, HCM, Payroll modules across ECC, OER, RMCA, GTS, SCM/APO, MDM, BW/BI, BPC, SOLMAN systems and SaaS solutions such as Ariba, Hybris, IBP and Success Factors. Our team has moved the platforms to Azure and is actively working towards S/4 HANA migration.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a seasoned professional for the position of Software Engineer II with exceptional core experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) with exposure to MM (Materials Management), and FI (Finance) integrations along with good understanding of ABAP, Databases, Interfaces (ALE/EDI/Idoc, Proxy, RFCs, REST APIs).

As part of our SAP team, you will design, implement, deliver and operate SAP solutions for Microsoft’s Commerce business processes. This position requires strong collaboration and teamwork across teams and organizational boundaries and ensuring that the solutions delivered are in alignment with the roadmap for current and future business scenarios.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

 

As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the following:

Participate in requirements gathering process, Blue-print, Design, Development and Deployment of Solutions by leveraging your SAP and Industry expertise.

Create Detailed design of the end-to-end solution as per the Microsoft architectural standards and SAP best practices.

Following security-by-design principles, deliver required functionality with agility and quality according to Microsoft standards and in alignment with the roadmap for the portfolio following the SAFe process.

Enhance the project capabilities by continuous improvements & innovation, develop strong partnership with business and other groups, globally & ensure both excellence in design and delivery.

Demonstrate Livesite-First culture by being accountable for the service health of critical batch jobs, web services/APIs and surround interfaces.

Support Domain Architects in the definition of solution and technology roadmaps and industry standards.

Ability to multi-task various projects and tasks with tight deliverables while keeping informed of existing and evolving SAP best practices, industry standards and surround technologies.

Leverage data and telemetry to make decisions and driving feedback into systems design and implementation.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Equivalent.

6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in configuration and customization of various Business processes as an SAP SD Functional analyst.

Exposure to modern engineering tools and practices – DevOps, Agile, DRI, Live site, Monitoring and Telemetry.

Experience in working on large scale global enterprise implementations.

Strong problem solving, troubleshooting skills along with sound judgement and decision-making. Ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to participate in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Experience working in a global engineering model and collaborating with geographically diverse groups.

Strong understanding of software life cycle methodology and information systems development and support.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred, not required: 

Experience in SAP S/4HANA Sales.

Experience in other SAP Logistics modules.

Experience in ABAP or other programming languages.

Experience developing project plans and managing releases with a variety of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
