Job Description

Our story

At WooliesX, we’re here to create better everyday experiences for our customers. In the big picture, and the fine detail. In moments big and small.  We’re an innovation business that brings together the brightest minds in e-commerce, technology, media and data to transform the way people live and shop.

We’ve worked together with our partners to create all kinds of initiatives you know and love – like Everyday Rewards, one of Australia’s most popular loyalty programs. Alongside Woolworths Supermarkets, we’ve helped make online shopping simpler and more intuitive.

The success of our entire business is because of our people. Diversity is our strength, through the potential we unlock together. We’re resourceful and open-minded, welcoming and willing to experiment.  We encourage fresh ideas and help each other be better by providing ongoing career opportunities to grow and evolve.

It’s how we bring the future to life for our customers and our people, in everyday moments that matter.

The Company

A start-over helping transform our digital practice and disrupt Woolworths and the market, we’re made up of smart people with smart ideas. We’re proud of the work we do and want to be known for delivering exceptional client experiences.

We’re resourceful, inventive and willing to experiment; with the autonomy to do things our way which have a real impact. We’re a new team with great work life balance.

Where we play

WooliesX Hub is only 2 minutes walk from Central station and walking distance from all the cafes and restaurants that Surry Hills has to offer. The brand new site has been designed to support flexible working with different spaces for different activities such as collaboration, brainstorming or just chilling out.

At WooliesX, we also believe in flexible working, and our teams also have the option to work from home or our corporate head office in Bella Vista.

About The Role

WooliesX are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join one of the squads in the Digital Experience Tribe. The Digital Experience Tribe primarily focuses on consumer facing platforms such as Website Ecommerce, Content and Mobile Apps.

Software Engineers will work in a team of 4-5 engineers, a Product Manager and a QA to uplift an Ecommerce Web platform that generates more than a billion dollars in revenue a year.

The candidate will also be expected to raise the standard of Engineering at WooliesX by actively participating in Technical chapters and guilds.
