The Files and Identity Team drives collaboration, identity, and cloud experience infrastructure for Office. We tackle some of the toughest and most impactful challenges in the world’s most important products. If you obsess over technical details and want to solve some of the hardest problems in the core part of Office, then we are looking for a driven and execution-oriented engineer and we would love to meet you.

We deliver co-authoring experiences so that our customers can work on the same document with others, in real-time, on any device. We drive the identity stack behind apps like Office, Edge, Teams and OneDrive. We work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the rest of Office to deliver performant and always-available access to your documents in the cloud. We are modernizing and enhancing the collaboration experience with intelligent clients and services. 

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include the following: 

• Deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, debugging, and shipping
• Cooperate with other engineers and disciplines to deliver reliable designs and cross-platform code
• Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, and work well with other people
• Be committed to delivering the best experience for our customers 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with native C++ (Low Level Systems)
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional experience with C, C#, or Java is a plus
