Robert Half is currently recruiting for accomplished and results-oriented Software Developers for our Edmonton Client to fulfill two current open roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting new application software and enhancing existing software. As well, working within the team you will analyze stakeholder input and develop and document solution proposals, functional designs and recommendations for application design, scalability and stakeholder support. You have solid application development and system analysis experience and proven working success in ensuring development standards are met and processes are followed. This role is based in Edmonton, AB., but is open to some hybrid remote work concessions for eligible Candidates within the Edmonton or Calgary regions.

Requirements

MUST HAVES:

• 4+ years’ solid working experience in a similar role along with proficient knowledge and ability in application development and system analysis
• In-depth knowledge and experience with application development utilizing Microsoft.NET development, MS SQL 2012/2016, Visual Studio, C#, Transact-SQL
• Solid working experience in web development with Vue.JS and/or Angular JS
• Proven working experience in analysis, design, and toolset experience relevant to project engagement
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database design and querying concepts along with the ability to uphold and implement best practices
• Strong knowledge and ability with multiple toolsets for deployment, source control management, and batch programming is an asset
• "Out-of-the-box" thinking and problem solving skills and proven experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose and importance
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field
