Join our team based in our Central Otago site! We are seeking talented, newly qualified, or experienced Social Workers! If you are passionate about improving the lives of tamariki and rangatahi and carrying out meaningful work that makes a difference, this could be the opportunity for you!
Our team of practitioners are a tight knit group who work closely together and share our Oranga Tamariki values. As part of our team, you will spend your day meeting with tamariki, rangatahi and their family and whanau listening to what they have to say, completing assessments of need, formulating intensive intervention plans, participating in hui-a-whÄnau, family group conferences and partnering with other agencies, community groups and iwi to improve outcomes.

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
Annual remuneration for this position starts between $74,839.35 and $90,714.36 dependant on experience. We offer a vibrant and supportive team, flexible work options and a genuine commitment to wellbeing.

The appointee will be based for some of their working week in Alexandra at the main Central Otago site office but will also have flexibility to work remotely at times, in co-located office spaces in Queenstown, Wanaka and potentially other locations within our catchment area.
