Our South Auckland service is looking for a successful Social Worker to work within one school on a full-time basis, although working across other local schools may be required periodically.

 This role will see the successful applicant providing early intervention and preventative social work services to children and their families using our strengths-based, multi-systemic approach.

• A qualified and experienced Social Worker
• Able to work with people of many cultures
• Committed to working with Tangata Whenua
• Have a knowledge of Tikanga Maori
• Experienced in working alongside children and their families
• Great in self-management and working within a school community
• Organised, with excellent communication skills
• Interested in developing group work skills and facilitating a range of needs based preventative programs
• A "can do" person, enthusiastic and highly motivated
• Registered or eligible for registration with the SWRB
