Located in the 'golden triangle' in southwestern Ontario, its roots have been technological and agricultural, and both continue to factor significantly in the local economy. There are a great variety of opportunities available in the areas of recreation and cultural events. Urban renewal in both downtowns is providing new ways to experience culture and leisure. K-W is also an educational centre, with two universities and one community college. There is a rich mixture of cultures, and Mennonites are a vital part of that diversity.
