At Pasta Evangelists, we deliver fresh pasta dishes of restaurant quality across the UK. We provide our customers with fresh, handmade pasta, the finest sauces & beautiful garnishes from Italy, inviting them to prepare a 5* pasta dish in the comfort of their own home.

With the hard work taken care of by our Italian chefs, all our customers need to do is boil the pasta and heat up the sauce… e buon appetito, a Michelin-starred quality meal in minutes! And whilst we are a digitally-native DTC brand, through www.pastaevangelists.com, we are also the largest pasta brand in the UK on Deliveroo and the only pasta brand in Harrods where we have our amazing restaurant and concession. We are also sold in other channels such as Ocado, Amazon, Zapp and Weezy.

Our mission is clear, loud and simple: we want to be THE authority in fresh, artisan pasta. As a category, pasta is worth £3.8bn in the UK alone, and we are the only company disrupting it. Pasta Evangelists is one of the fastest-growing food tech companies in the UK, having increased revenues by 30x in the past 3 years.

We have recently been acquired by Barilla, the biggest pasta company in the world. We continue to operate independently with the same startup culture and energy, whilst benefiting from the backing of one of the largest food groups internationally.

Given our ambitions, we are looking for a Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager to take our social activities to the next level. Find out more below.

Purpose of the Job:

- Be our content superstar, leading the strategy and production of our content across all social channels, including creative direction and copywriting.
- Be the our community leader, leading the strategy and execution of our influencer ambassador programme, UGC strategy and social brand partnerships.


Who you are:

- You have 3+ years in social media and content strategy.
- Passionate about food and all things organic social & community building.
- A creative marketing superstar. We want someone with a natural flair for storytelling to help brief, produce and edit amazing creative for all social channels. You should also be a great communicator with excellent copywriting skills and a knack for tone of voice.
- Someone with experience building strong influencer/blogger relationships. You’re a natural relationship person and know how to find the ‘win-win’ for all parties involved.
- Detail oriented. Nothing irks you more than noticing a pesky spelling mistake on socials!
- A self-starter who is willing to embrace the scrappiness and sometimes ambiguous world of a start-up. You will be required to create amazing content with limited budget and resources so we need someone who is really hands-on and able to create a lot from a little!
- A team player. You will help amplify campaigns, launches and openings across the business so you need to be able to work with people from all different functions & backgrounds.


What you will do at Pasta Evangelists:

- Reporting to our Head of Brand, you will lead our social media and community from end-to-end, including strategy, creative production, growing our community, influencer management and reporting the results to the wider business.
- Strategy & planning: Work closely with our CMO and Head of Brand on creative strategy for all social channels (including visual look & feel and developing tone of voice), as well as communicating regularly with other channel owners to ensure joined-up owned and earned content. You will have your "finger on the pulse" of the latest social trends, from new platforms to micro trends, making sure Pasta Evangelists leads the way with cutting-edge digital marketing strategies.
- Content management: Create a social media content calendar that considers the needs of each platform. It will be your responsibility to generate a daily stream of winning content across our channels, from amazing UGC to in-house visuals and videos. For example, our goal is to get at least 1,000 likes on each Instagram post and you should be ready to meet this challenge!
- Copywriting & TOV: Write moving copy that reflects our tone of voice and engages relevant audiences across multiple channels and platforms.
- Community management: Monitor engagement and interact with our audience across accounts, building trust and loyalty, as well as looking out for proactive engagement opportunities.
- Brand partnerships: Run competitions with like-minded brands which are relevant to our mission & values.
- Influencer management: Own monthly acquisition targets via our influencer channel. You will be expected to develop our influencer programme, which will include briefing & approving sponsored content, creating influencer lists, managing outreach campaigns and reporting back on results.
- Reporting: Monitor key social data, including customer acquisition, and report back on performance to the Marketing team at weekly meetings.
