The Division

The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure. 

 

The Opportunity

We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Manager, Network Resilience Program to oversees and ensures the delivery of the Network Resilience Program, which aims to increase network resilience to mitigate the impacts of natural disasters and unplanned events

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting and ultimately delivering the program for Transport.

 

Working wide a variety of Stakeholders across Transport you will;

Manage the implementation of the project plan to meet scope, time, cost, quality and safety requirements across three defined program stream: Bushfire Corridor Resilience, Customer Journey Resilience, and Aboriginal Cultural Landscape Management

Develop and implement the stakeholder consultation program to support the successful delivery of all program streams

Develop detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from the approved budget, including reviewing and recommending for approval for project costs and variations, monitoring and controlling project costs, reporting on expenditure and addressing any slippage issues

Facilitate the development and approval of project-specific quality, safety and environmental requirements

Determine project risks and develop a project risk management plan, facilitating the risk review process and managing, monitoring and mitigating project risks

Prepare and implement monthly reporting, ensure reporting mechanisms are linked to budget delivery on time, and ensure implementation of project management methodology.

 

About you

We are looking for a strong leader with exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with people at all levels of a business. You will have tertiary qualifications in business or demonstrated experience in a similar role.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in project planning and project management and a full driving licence with the ability to travel across the state when required.
