The Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Sussex Coast Vets. We're a busy small animal practice with five branches, with one of our sites providing a 24-hour emergency service. We're looking for someone with a passion for providing the highest level of veterinary care, whilst always striving to achieve excellent client ser-vice through clear and effective communication with a compassionate approach.
The full-time position is a 4-day week with a 1 in 4 working weekend schedule built in. Part time applications will also be considered. We have our own dedicated night team, so there's no requirement for out of hours cover. We offer a very competitive package with many benefits. The basic salary for the role is between £35,000 to £50,000, dependent on experience.
About Us
Sussex Coast Vets is a group of five branches serving the Hastings and Bexhill area, providing out-of-hours emergency cover to several other practices in the area.
Recently refurbished, the clinic is equipped with the full range of diagnostic laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, and excellent facilities.
East Sussex is an area steeped in history, with beautiful countryside, stunning coastlines, and an abundance of choice within the art, sports, and leisure scenes. We also have the convenience of great links to Brighton, London, and Gatwick.
Across the Sussex Coast Vets group, we have approximately 12 Vets, with a total team of 40-45 across the group, this includes both Regis-tered and Trainee Nurses and our Receptionist and Support functions. We welcome vets with a range of experience, including those with interests in orthopaedics, exotics, ultrasonography and emergency care. We also have a visiting specialist in ophthalmology!
