Job Description

A fantastic opportunity to join a renowned multi-site practice with excellent facilities including a CT scanner at the main Tier 3 hospital site in Newcastle. Great work-life balance with flexible hours.

This multi-site practice is well known across the North East for delivering first-class patient care out of all of its sites.

The main site is a Tier 3 hospital in Newcastle boasting all the veterinary toys one would expect from a hospital including high spec ultrasound, endoscopy and digital/dental radiography suite, as well as the recent addition of a CT scanner.

The team consists of over 40 vets across the group with half of those studying towards, or already having, certificates in a wide-range of disciplines. There is an incredibly supportive atmosphere throughout the entire group with a massive focus on helping all vets develop their skills and interests in a way that suits them.

Key Duties

  • There is a 2 hour consult block in the morning and afternoon with plenty of time in the middle for operations, medical work ups, and lunch in between.
  • If you have a leaning towards medicine or surgery, this can certainly be accommodated.
  • There is flexibility in terms of hours within this role but a standard working week includes 40 hours spread over 4 days with weekends on a rota basis.
