The Role

We are a small animal practice looking for someone who is keen to learn and happy to provide sole charge, including OOH when necessary. The rota is for 1 in 9 nights on duty, 4 day working week with an average of
38 hours in the practice plus on call. Time off in lieu for days worked at weekends.

About Us

We are a long established purpose built practice with a close knit team and low turnover of staff. We are proud to cover our own out of hours and have 24 hour on site nursing care. We are a 3 centre practice with 2 surgeries in Bridgwater (just off junction 24 of thee M5) and a branch surgery in Burnham on Sea. We have always invested in our staff and our surgery and have all the mod con’s expected of a progressive practice including dental x-ray, laparoscopic equipment, Gen11, ultrasound.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for an experienced friendly Vet with practice experience, who is a team player but happy to take sole charge when necessary. We have an experienced team of 11 veterinary surgeons including 3 certificate holders so plenty of support is available. Certificates are encouraged and supported. A vet with medical bias would be preferred but not essential.
