We achieved hospital status in 1995 and have a large team of dedicated staff, and extensive facilities in order to offer caring and comprehensive services to both referring vets and pet owners alike.

State-of-the-art digital imaging facilities: digital X-ray, MRI and CT scanning machines are all right here on site.

We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced and friendly first opinion team here at Dovecote!

Full and Part Time applications welcomed with the understanding that you will be required to participate in the Saturday morning rota (1:4).

What we offer:

• Full-time or Part timework available and we will also consider applicants for job share
• The full-time position offers a four-day working week and 1:4 Saturday mornings
• There are no OOH as our dedicated OOH team provides this
• The opportunity to work in a fully equipped hospital- The hospital is purpose built with all the usual toys and advanced imaging (CT and MRI) on site
• As well as the first opinion and OOH service, we share the hospital with a referral team with diplomate led specialities in neurology, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, oncology and dermatology
• Dovecote Veterinary Hospital has links to the University of Nottingham, is a Teaching Hospital and hosts students for regular rotations
