Small animal vet needed in Worthing area to join a growing, multi-vet practice. Independently owned and very well-equipped. 4 day working week with 1 in 8 full weekends, no OOH's!

Due to expansion, this independently owned practice in Worthing are in need of an additional vet to join their team and continue the rapid growth they have already enjoyed over the past 1-2 years. A minimum of two years experienced is needed in order to compliment the existing vets who are both comfortably 5+ years qualified, one of which has advanced practitioner status.

A very sociable rota is on offer with the increasingly popular 4 day working week in place while you are only required to work 1 in 8 full weekends and 1 in 8 half weekends(Saturday only). There are no OOH's or inpatient duties involved.

The practice itself is very well-equipped with almost brand new digital x-ray, ultrasound & dental radiography, all located within the very spacious premises which has plenty of scope for further expansion in future.

Key Duties

• 4 day week
• 1 in 8 full weekends
• 1 in 8 Saturdays
• Time off in lieu after weekend duty, resulting in 3 day week
• 15 minute appointments
• 1-2 ops days per week

Package and Benefits

• Salary based on experience, range of £35,000-£55,000
• 22 days holiday + bank holidays
• £1500 CPD allowance, can go above this to support certificates
• VDS, RCVS & BSAVA fees covered

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be RCVS registered
• Two years experience minimum
• Excellent communication skills
