We are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic, progressive RCVS accredited, 2 site veterinary group based near Watford in Hertfordshire. Ideally, we are looking for experienced Vets however we can consider applications from recent graduates with 1 years' experience.
Based in Hertfordshire, our client is a 2 site well respected Veterinary group. We are looking for a full time Vet to join their long-standing team of 8 experienced Vets, 8 RVN's and 2 SVN's. The team is very experienced and is available to discuss complex caseloads and provide full support for the new Vet joining.
You will be working within a very modern, spacious and well-equipped practice with recent investments into the toys. You can expect to see a modern Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, ECG monitoring equipment and much more!
Key Duties
The position includes a very manageable workload with a 4-day working week with a regular day off. Shift patterns differ with an earlier and later shift. This will be discussed during the interview.
You will be required to cover weekends on a rota basis shared across the Vets. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work on: 1:4 Saturdays, 9.00-6.00pm. Sundays are also required on a 1:12 rota basis. There will be no additional OOH work required on this position.
Package and Benefits
Salary is totally dependent upon experience and is up for negotiation during the interview process. We would be looking between the range of £40,000-£50,000 for the right Vet joining.
You can also enjoy a CPD allowance of £1,500 with 5 days CPD study leave. Higher budget courses and certificate funding is encouraged by the practice and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Additional perks will be added onto your overall package with an above industry average holiday allowance and all registration fees paid for by the practice.
