Permanent Full Time position responsible for providing the effective delivery of HealthShare NSW's Food Service to NSW Health hospital patients. $72,955.03 per annum, 38 hours per week.
HealthShare NSW are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor for Food Services with great communication and customer service skills to join our Food Services department. About the opportunity
We are looking for a Site Supervisor to oversee day to day management and provide leadership and direction to staff and effectively manage operational issues, to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focussed work culture. You will be a superstar with organisation, as you will be required to place stock orders and manage stock levels and enter data. You will be required to perform operational work activities within the kitchen to support delivery outcomes when required. to find out more.
This is a Full Time Permanent position graded as a General Admin Staff Grade 8 with an annual salary of $72,955.03 (Excl. 10% superannuation). Location, Macquarie Hospital.

How to apply
During the application process, you will be required to attach your resume and provide answers to the Targeted Questions below. You must ensure your answers make reference to all of the Essential Requirements listed in the prior to submitting your application.
Experience in the operations and management of food and/or patient support services in a large complex organisation.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, including well developed people management skills and communication and engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to integrate quality assurance principles into day-to-day operations and an understanding of relevant legislation, policy and professional standards, which are in the areas of food safety, infection control, cleaning, and work health and safety.
Only candidates with current Australian work rights (Australian citizens, permanent residents, valid work visa) will be considered.
Vaccination Requirements
This is a NSW Health Category A position, which requires immunisation against the following:
Whooping Cough
Hepatitis B
Measles / Mumps / Rubella
Chicken Pox
Screening for Tuberculosis
COVID-19
If you have any current evidence of vaccination against these, upload them with your application. Your current vaccination status will not impact your application. If you are the preferred candidate, you will be responsible for covering the costs of any remaining vaccination requirements. For more information read the .
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
If you are the preferred candidate, you will also need to complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment, with costs covered by HealthShare NSW.
