Responsibilities include: 

• Development of Structure planning activities 
• Steering of expenditure of Structure related investments
• Development and implementation of robust structure concepts to support site and production system
• Coordinate and manage departmental space allocation across 53,000m2 plant
• Coordinate requirements, plan and facilitate development of plant extensions and off site facilities
• Coordinate and manage office strategy.
• Leading Planning Managers Circle for implementation and steering of site related structure and operational topics (Invest steering, Cost efficient process, vehicle projects, Cross functional topics)
• Coordination of external contractors for implementation of site structure changes/projects/extensions
• Direct connection with central Risk Management network and network process partners
• Daily communication with all Functions and the facilities & Energy team for the coordination of all infrastructure projects
• Mentoring/leading other technologies in the implementation of structure projects and setting standards
• Challenges with regard to innovation and change
• Achieve an efficient workable environment encapsulating a pragmatic approach versus theoretical and BMW approach.

Qualifications

• Degree level or relevant professional experience
• Excellent knowledge of structure planning processes, strategies and concepts. Strong project management skills in leading multi-million pounds structure projects.
• Strongly self-motivated, high analytical and logical capabilities.
• Project management and leadership skills to achieve targets and do the job efficiently.
• High level of creative and strategic thinking.
• General IT Skills (Desktop), Business Process IT Skills.
• Working knowledge of Microstation CAD software
• Excellent communications and social skills. Able to convince and persuade others, both at higher and lower levels.
• German and English language skills are advantageous.
