They need a hand's on construction site manager with a commercial/residential or even civil structures background who gets involved and leads from the front. The projects are new build schemes and are a mix of residential and commercial projects.

CTR are looking for a site manager to join this company ASAP. They are looking for candidates with a solid career history, ideally established in a sub or main contractor's environment, ideally with New Zealand experience, however they would consider overseas applicants with some local NZ experience.

You would have gained a minimum of 4 - 8 years' experience and have worked on a number of other commercial building projects which could include warehouses, retirement villages and retail units. You need to be able to take projects through the life cycle of the scheme and keep to program.

Your experience as a site manager will be second to none, this is a position where your man management and construction knowledge are essential to make sure these projects are a success for you and the company. You must be able to understand the running of the site, the co-ordination of the staff/subs, hold the ability to motivate and have a solid understanding of the construction drawings and with financial management awareness. Excellent communication skills are important with a number of very important stake holders involved.
