This isn’t just any residential/commercial build, due to the size, scale, and complexity of their projects you’ll be part of a team capable of delivering multi-storey apartments, hospitals, cafes, swimming pools, townhouses, and everything in between.

Your responsibilities;

Based in Christchurch on a newly active site, a great opportunity for a Site Manager to lead the construction site team to complete their apartment stage of construction.

• Ensuring projects are being delivered safely, on time, to budget and to a high quality.
• Assist the Project Manager and manage teams including labour and sub-contractors
• Implement, drive and monitor project planning, management and quality assurance on site
• Own the construction program, critical paths and key target dates, ensuring on time delivery
• Communicate at all levels with site staff and our consultants to meet project timelines
• Be responsible for managing the overall logistics, program and contractors of the site and supporting the project team (foreman and safety etc) to achieve a successful outcome
• Lead and coach the teams

About you

No day is the same, they are looking for people to join their team who are proactive and put safety above everything. Suitable candidates will have;

• Extensive experience on large-scale construction (multi-story) projects involving substantial, foundations, precast, structure and fit-out work
• Be trade qualified working your way up from the tools
• A team player – you value the development of the team around you and success to you is everyone fulfilling their potential
• An experienced Site Manager who has delivered multi hundred million dollar commercial or multi-unit residential projects at a construction contractor
