A leading Auckland commercial contractor are in a good spot with a run of new tender wins creating the need for an additional site manager. Generally their projects consist of warehousing, office blocks, sport and recreation, aged care, refurbishments, apartments and remediation. They are a company that employ construction professionals that are 100% focussed on ensuring high client service delivery standards.

As a site manager you will be working across a variety of projects and you will be:

• Managing all site activities from start to completion
• Instructing and managing sub-contractors and suppliers
• Ensuring project programme is maintained
• Ensuring occupational health and safety requirements are implemented
• Working closely with the project manager to ensure smooth delivery of the project

Ideal background:

• A trade background or tertiary background with 5+ years commercial site management experience
• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to come up with solutions for any problems
• Ability to manage jobs autonomously
• Solid structures/concrete experience
• Sound communication skills with sub contractors, clients and consultants
• Driven, motivated and financially tuned in
• Strong knowledge and experience in OHS

Salary $115K - $130K + vehicle
