Metal Concepts is asking for expressions of interest for Site Installers with 2+ years of experience in construction building or welding and fabrication.

No 2 days are the same with lots of project variety, such as architectural design buildings, high end residential, prisons, shopping malls, civil infrastructure etc. Working under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, as part of a small team, you’ll have the capacity to follow instructions and interpret sketches and drawings to install the various product on a construction fit out including facades, metal ceilings, woven metal mesh, windows, louvres etc: These are usually one off bespoke pieces that sometimes need out of the box solutions or initiative to execute a quality install.

Responsibilities:

• Manage installation jobs
• Works from shop drawings, work orders, and verbal instructions form the Site Supervisor/Manager
• Use and maintain tools and equipment provided
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
• Work as part of a small team to find solutions to install challenges

Skills and experience required:

• Problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills
• Ability to read shop sketches and blueprints
• Good skills and abilities in layout. Using Quickmark interior layout systems.
• Able to understand and analyse job to coordinate work with other team members
• Previous building or installation experience.
