You’ll be responsible for obtaining the necessary Construction Environmental Permits and Consents for SZC, ensuring that appropriate organisation and environmental arrangements are in place for the various stages of the project in order to maintain compliance with these permits.
This will include co-developing arrangements with the Civil Works Alliance, and delivering and implementing an environmental surveillance plan in relation to activities conducted on site and with associated developments.
You’ll have experience of Environmental Permitting and Technical Environmental issues relating to large infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of environmental legislation, policy, regulatory guidance and standards.
Demonstrable leadership experience would be strongly desirable, especially from working in a construction environment dealing with an on- site workforce.
Experience in the nuclear industry would be advantageous.
