The role would be assisting a senior QS working  on a large retirement villages based in East Auckland, there is plenty of scope to progress your career on to other projects beyond this.

Your role will cover:

• Measuring and valuing variations
• Developing relationships with clients, sub contractors and suppliers
• Cost management and monitoring of projects
• Liaising with Project Managers
• Reporting

As a QS, you have at least 5 - 6 years of experience with a main commercial contractor. You have a strong understanding of NZ Construction methodologies and have a relevant tertiary qualification. You work well within a team environment and thrive on the pressure that construction projects bring. You are an excellent communicator and have a willingness to learn
