This well established quality main contractor have been responsible for some iconic projects and continue to be a strong performer across the Auckland market. Their QS team reflect some of the best in the industry, attracting only the best, they are now looking for an intermediate QS to join this top shelf contractor.

The role would be assisting a senior QS working  on a large retirement villages based in East Auckland, there is plenty of scope to progress your career on to other projects beyond this.

Your role will cover:

• Measuring and valuing variations
• Developing relationships with clients, sub contractors and suppliers
• Cost management and monitoring of projects
• Liaising with Project Managers
• Reporting

As a QS, you have at least 5 - 6 years of experience with a main commercial contractor. You have a strong understanding of NZ Construction methodologies and have a relevant tertiary qualification. You work well within a team environment and thrive on the pressure that construction projects bring. You are an excellent communicator and have a willingness to learn.

The remuneration package is highly competitive and commensurate with experience, $110K - $140K pending experience.
