JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Using the shunt truck, shunt trailers into the loading bays safely and securely
• Circle check trailers, look for damage, inoperable lighting, brakes etc., and look for possible tampering of trailers that could involve illegal trafficking of drugs or weapons.
• Prepare trailers for loading, place chains at proper locations, make sure the trailer is clean and all dunnage is stacked neatly and safely at the front of the trailer..
• Follow safety protocol

Qualifications:

• Load Securement Experience is an asset but we will train
• Valid "G" Licence
• Good communication skills and work attitude
• Team player as the job requires communication to run smoothly.
• Must be able to follow instructions from dispatch

SHIFTS:

• Shift one          6:30 a.m  to 2:30 p.m.
• Shift two          2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m
