New Zealand Health Manufacturing (NZHM) is a leading manufacturer of dietary supplements in New Zealand.  NZHM’s Award-Winning success is due to its commitment to its customers and quality.  Our world-class manufacturing site produces dietary supplements for New Zealand and multiple overseas markets. Having recently completed a large expansion of our South Auckland site, we are looking to the future to build on our successes and expand our horizons.

The Shipping and Logistics Coordinator role works with raw materials being bought into a country and goods moving out of country. They will receive, monitor, and process daily freight movements. The role involves ensuring the correct paperwork is in place for arrivals and shipments and their importers/exporters. A Shipping and Logistics Coordinator will also monitor freight throughout the export process. 

This is a permanent full-time role based at our offices in Mangere, Auckland. The hours of this role are, Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:00pm. 

Role specific tasks: 

• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Coordinates export and import documents between internal and external teams.
• Coordinates product dispatch process and completes dispatch documentation.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintains RMP and Transitional facility compliant warehouse documentation.

The successful candidate will have: 

• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Well-versed in supply management principles and practices.
• Great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
• Minimum 3 year’s experience within a similar role, particularly in the natural health manufacturing sector would be well regarded.
• Previous leadership experience
• Experience with Netsuite would be beneficial
• Fantastic organisation skills
