We are recruiting Sharepoint Specialist on a 12 month contract basis. Please see details below and kindly apply


•        Routine engagement with Knowledge Management and Information services group to identify needs and wants from the perspective of an application specialist and business relationship manager


•        Maintain and support the business applications (SharePoint/Handshake/ Hotdocs) on a daily basis to ensure they are performing as expected.


•        Implementing system changes, troubleshooting problems and responding to requests from our global user community.


•        Staying current with product roadmaps and bug fixes.


•        Debug custom SQL-based components and custom web development components (JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML).


•        Utilization and Configuration of SharePoint search features (Crawl index, query and content processing)


•        Assessing and testing configuration changes in relation to the SharePoint enterprise environment


•        User security access in relation to active directory following SharePoint permission best practices


•        Contribute to application configuration, documentation and support manuals.


•        Interact professionally with clients and business areas to provide a high quality of service.

Qualifications and Education Requirements


•        A post-secondary education in a computer science-related field or equivalent working experience


•        3+ years of application support and analysis experience


•        Demonstrate strong SharePoint administration and development skills


•        Candidates must be competent in either SQL or JavaScript and proficient with the following technologies: Transact-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, XML and HTML, Web Development.


•        Ability to proactively communicate status & issues


•        Capable self-starter who takes initiative to solve problems and streamlines processes


•        Solid organizational skills including attention to detail


•        Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities

Preferred Skills


•        Experience with Legal Technology Core Competencies


•        Exposure to Handshake is a plus


•        Proficiency with remote support technology and supporting users remotely
