About the role
A rare, permanent opportunity has arisen at Southern DHB for a Service Manager in our Community and Rehabilitation Services team.
The role has responsibility for a broad range of services working in the hospital and in the Invercargill and wider Southland communities.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead and manage the Southland service, to provide an efficient, effective, and safe service for our staff, patients, and wider community.
Working in partnership with clinical and other staff, you will contribute to strategic, operational management and quality improvement, in a way that is consistent with Southern DHB's vision and values.
About you
Highly personable and approachable, your strong leadership skills and passion for the community will be a real benefit to you in this role.
Knowledge of the health and disability sector is essential.
In order to be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following :
Travel may be required occasionally, in line with district wide requirements.
